When To Call For Emergency Septic Pumping
Once warning signs start to appear, don't wait to get the problem taken care of. Resolving septic problems early could prevent more costly problems with your septic field or inside your house.
Signs of Potential Issues
- •New or worsening odors (inside or outside the home)
- •Gurgling or slow-draining toilets (more than usual)
- •Wet or bright green spots near your septic tanks
Signs of Critical Issues
- •Complete stoppage of water draining in sinks, toilets and showers/tubs
- •Water or sewage backing up inside the home or outside in the yard
- •Septic alarm going off (typically an audible alarm on an exterior septic pump box near your tanks)
The symptoms COULD indicate a septic issue, though the problem could also be related to a plumbing problem inside the home, an electrical issue involving septic components or more. At Outright Septic, our job is to help you figure out what type of issue you have and provide reasonable solutions to address the problem. Depending on the issue you are experiencing, we can provide the following services:
Emergency Pumping
Pumping is often required as a first step to get wastewater flowing again, while also allowing access to submerged pipes for additional inspection and/or camera services.
Site Visit / Inspection
A more formal inspection may be needed if emergency pumping doesn't resolve the problem, which can help us diagnose any remaining issues so we can provide you with a viable solution.
Line Camera Service
Specialized cameras can be sent through your lines to visibly inspect for blockages, damaged pipes, root intrusions or other issues preventing water from flowing.
Snaking Services
Professional snaking services can remove and clear minor blockages to get wastewater flowing properly again.
What To Expect
With Emergency Septic Services from Outright
Scheduling & Pre-Visit
Same Day + After Hours Availability
Emergencies don't always happen during convenient times. We maintain a flexible schedule so we can help customers dealing with septic emergencies. And while we can't always guarantee same-day or 24/7 service, we will always do our best to solve your septic problems ASAP.
Pre-Visit Call
As soon as you raise the bat signal, one of our technicians will call you as soon as possible to help assess the extent of the problems you are experiencing. We'll also confirm information about your property and septic system, and walk you through what to expect with our service.
Transparent Pricing
In emergency situations, we don't always know the full scope of the job. During our pre-visit call, we will give you our best estimate and discuss any variables that could contribute to expand the scope of the job and add to the cost of service. Standard pumping fees will apply in addition to an emergency service fee.
Day Of Service
Friendly, Expert Technicians
Once onsite, our expert technicians will investigate the issues your system is experiencing and work to resolve the issue, by pumping your tank, unclogging lines or whatever else is needed. While we can't do any work inside your house (plumbers have different training & licenses), we will address any possible issues from the outside.
Better If You Are Home
While not 100% necessary, it's recommended for you to be home while our technicians are dealing with your emergency, as we may need someone inside to run water to make sure everything is flowing properly both from the house and out to the septic field. However, if you can't be present, we will still do everything we can to resolve the issue from the outside.
Every Emergency Is Different
Our first rate techs have the knowledge and experience to isolate and resolve most problems, from pumping your tank to unclogging a line and beyond. And we will work as fast as possible to fix whatever is ailing your system as quickly as posisble.
After-Service Follow-Up
Detailed Service Report
After each emergency visit, we will provide a detailed report of the work we did and how we addressed the problems leading to the emergency. If we pumped your septic tank in the process, we'll also include information on how much waste was pumped.
Stress-Free Recommendations
One emergency visit is enough. Now that this issue has been addressed, we will provide a list of any recommendations we have to keep your septic system running smoothly for a long time to come. Stress-free septic starts now!
