Septic Tank Inspections
When To Inspect Your Septic Tank
Periodic inspections of your septic tank will give you peace of mind knowing that there are no underlying issues that could lead to major problems or expenses down the road. Throughout Nashville and Middle Tennessee, our team provides expert septic system inspection services, which can identify potential problems before they have a chance to escalate. That's the stress-free septic life.
Before Buying Or Selling A Property
Inspecting a septic system before buying a property will give you confidence that your new system is not going to give you any unexpected problems when you move in. For sellers or real estate agents, offering an inspection can give buyers added peace of mind and help ensure a successful closing. Eliminating surprises makes the transaction stree-free for everyone!
When You Notice Warning Signs
If you start to notice any warning signs, it is probably a good time to schedule an inspection. Slow drains, gurgling sounds, sewage odors, or wet spots in your yard could be signs that your septic system needs attention.
What To Expect
With a Septic System Evaluation from Outright
Scheduling & Pre-Visit
Flexible Scheduling
We know that time is often of the essence when needing a septic inspection, whether it's before a real estate closing or to investigate potential concerns. Our certified inspectors can usually get to your property within a few days, and we will work around your schedule to quickly evaluate your septic system.
Pre-Visit Call
To best prepare for your inspection, one of our technicians will give you a call before your visit. This will give us a chance to confirm the details of your system, address any specific concerns or questions you might have and make sure we are working around any specific deadlines.
Transparent Pricing
As part of our pre-visit call, we will give you a clear estimate of the cost of your inspection. And while issues may arise during the inspection that require additional services, we'll discuss any other factors that could impact price, so we can mitigate any surprises around the cost of inspection.
Day Of Service
Friendly, Expert Technicians
Our certified septic inspectors will complete a full evaluation of your system to either confirm there are no issues or indentify any problems that may exist.
About An Hour On Site
Septic system inspections are typically completed in under an hour, though if we have to dig to access your tank, this typically adds an extra 30-60 minutes to the job.
Someone Will Need To Be Home
As part of our inspection, we will need to have water running from inside the house and flowing out to the septic tank, so someone will need to be home during our visit.
Camera Line Inspections
If needed, we can run a digital camera that sits on the end of a flexible "snake" and feed it through your lines to get a better look at potential blockages. Additional fees may apply.
Post-Inspection Follow-Up
Detailed Inspection Report
After our inspection, we will send you a detailed report of what we found with your septic system (good or bad) along with any recommendations we have related to pumping or additional maintenance. You will typically have the report in hand within 24-48 hours after our inspection.
Stress-Free Recommendations
As part of our inspection report, we'll include any recommendations we have related to pumping or additional maintenance for your septic system. We'll get you to feeling stress-free about your septic system in no time.

Septic Tank Pumping
Very friendly and efficient. I for one would have had a hard time working in the heat locating, exposing and pumping of the tank. Also installed a riser but not a complaint or mention of any obstacles. Greatly appreciated! Would highly recommend.

Septic Tank Pumping
The service technician did a great job. He was able to locate the lid without digging up the whole top of the septic tank. He was in and out quickly and returned the dirt on top of the tank. Great job. I would highly recommend outright septic.

Septic System Service
I had a great experience with Outright Septic, especially Matt Rose. He came out today to diagnose and repair an issue with my septic system and grinder pump. Matt was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain exactly what was going on and what needed to be done. It’s not often you find someone who is both technically skilled and genuinely cares about helping the customer. He got everything working again, and I left feeling confident the job was done right. If you need septic or grinder pump service, I highly recommend Matt and the team at Outright Septic. Great service from start to finish.
